The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
‘Allah, the Glorious and Exalted said: ‘When I afflict my slave in his two dear things (i.e., his eyes), and he endures patiently, I shall compensate him for them with Jannah.’
[Sahih Al Bukhari]
After Imaan in Allah and His Messenger, SallAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam, arguably the greatest gift bestowed upon man is the gift of sight. Its deprivation is amongst the biggest tests that Allah can afflict his slave with, and for this reason, if endured with patience, blindness is a means of Paradise.
Alhamdulillah, blindness, or any visual impairment, has never prevented one from acquiring the ma’rifah (recognition) of Allah and the knowledge of His religion. Braille Qur’ans today allow visually impaired Muslims across the world to read and study the Book of Allah without hindrance.
A Braille Qur’an, which can be printed in just one day, consists of 15 parts (books).
There should not be one visually impaired student who is denied access to the Book of Allah. Human Hope wants to distribute Braille Qur’ans freely across Pakistan and needs your help in doing so.
For just £45 you can have one Braille Qur’an (with I’raab) printed.
For £65 a Braille Qur’an with an added English or Urdu translation can be printed.
